Our capacity is 10.000 net casting in a year. We are producing ductile iron EN GJS 400 – ENGJS 600 and gray cast iron EN GJL 200 – EN GJL 300. We also have in house pattern making, electrogalvanising and heat treatment facilities.

PATTERNMAKING

Our pattern shop produces customer patterns reliably. We are also able to easily implement adaptations and modifications to existing pattern facilities to customer requirements. Together with our foundry engineering specialist, our patternmakers produce patterns for our moulding lines. This is done allowing for all relevants casting-engineering requirements.

 

We further process customer drawings or corresponding 3D data as the basis for this. Our specialists develop an optimum pattern design allowing for a casting and feeding system matched to the casting, the appropriate mould bevel, the material-specific degree of shrinkage and any machining allowances.

 

We have two vertical machining centres and other necessary equipment for CAD-CAM process in patternmaking department. We make pattern from cast iron, aluminium and polyurethane depending on the number of the casting which will be produced.

SAND PREPARATION

Green Sand

 

Fully automatic sand system with a capacity of 30 tons/hour.
Sand mixers are Eirich DV 15 and DV 23.

 

Resin Sand

 

Furan resin sand is used for cold setting process. Omega Spartan 10 tons/hour mixer is used for moulding. Used sand is reclaimed and cooled by omega systems.
